“By the time a man realizes that maybe his father was right, he usually has a son who thinks he's wrong.” :) But its been about half a decade since I ceased to be a kid in my father’s eyes, I guess. And I ain’t a father yet. Being stuck in the age-bracket that I am, life can be fun dodging all the sniper fire – people popping the question “toh? shaadi kab kar raha hai?” and ofcourse, the occasional artillery fire from mother almighty, “D, there’s this pretty girl.. what do you say?”. Bachelorhood beyond these midolescenct years is not looked upon kindly. Especially in this country, whose idiosyncrasies include the democracy, the Kumbh mela, millions of religions and faiths, the 200 different mother tongues, yoga, and zillions of swamis, hermits, psychics and ofcourse, yours truly.
